NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE. MNPS Virtual School would like to celebrate the Class of 2021 by featuring our outstanding students.
"Autumn Fletcher is an extraordinary student who actively displays grit, brilliance, balance, and grace. We are grateful she chose to enroll with us last year," according to Executive Principal Dr. Kelby Garner.
When asked why she chose MNPS Virtual School, Autumn answered, "I chose Virtual School to focus on my potential. The intimate environment and resources VS provides have boosted my education further than any other school I've attended!" Autumn also shared advice for other MNPS Virtual School students, "Do NOT rush your years in high school. Everything is happening for a reason. Cutting corners or ignoring opportunities limit the amount of success you're capable of reaching. And remember, the impression you leave behind is far more important than any report card or GPA."
Autumn received acceptance to four colleges, Belmont University, University of California Irvine, Davis, and San Diego. This ambitious student is headed to the west coast to enroll at The University of California San Diego and major in Biochemistry. Upon graduating, Autumn plans to pursue a career in Astrochemistry or Forensic Chemistry!
Autumn is grateful for the support she has received over the years to reach this point in life. She shares, "I'd like to thank everyone involved with my journey through high school, including teachers, counselors, family, and friends. One person I will give thanks to here is my brother, Mark. He is more of a role model than he gives himself credit for, and seeing him finding his life path has encouraged me to do the same."
MNPS Virtual School's 10th Annual Graduation Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM in the Sadler Auditorium at The Cohn School to celebrate the accomplishment of Autumn and all our MNPS Virtual School graduates.
