NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE. MNPS Virtual School would like to celebrate the Class of 2023 by featuring our outstanding students.
Sheila Gonzalez Cisneros joined MNPS Virtual School in the Fall of 2022. School Counselor, Mrs. Bauman of MNPS Virtual School, notes, “It is such a pleasure to know Sheila and learn about her goals for the future! She is a responsible and dedicated student, and we are tremendously honored she chose MNPS Virtual School to complete her high school education!"
Upon graduating from MNPS Virtual School, Sheila will attend South College in Nashville, TN, to earn a Certificate in Dental Assisting. When asked why Sheila chose this program, she writes, “I chose this program because it is a nine-month course, and it is very close to where I live.” After completion, Sheila plans to continue her training to earn an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene.
When asked, what advice she would provide to other MNPS Virtual School students, Sheila answered, “Try your best in school and ask for help when you need it."
Sheila is grateful for the support she received over the years to reach this point in life and beyond. She shares, “my family has supported me all throughout my years in school and helped me achieve everything.” Sheila continues, “I would also like to thank my son, Samir. He has helped me mature and become the best mom I can be for him.” Sheila also enjoys reading in her spare time.
MNPS Virtual School's 12th Annual Graduation Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM in the Sadler Auditorium at The Cohn School to celebrate the accomplishment of Sheila and all our MNPS Virtual School graduates.
