NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE. MNPS Virtual School would like to celebrate the Class of 2021 by featuring our outstanding students.

Dr. Garner, MNPS Virtual School Executive Principal, notes, "William Gulden is seriously going places! He is a proven student leader, and we are tremendously grateful he chose MNPS Virtual School to complete his high school education! His work ethic, grit, and professionalism are unmatched." William Gulden

When asked why he chose MNPS Virtual School, William answered, “I chose Virtual School because I found myself being distracted at my old high school and if I wanted to attend a good college then I needed to maintain focus and I wouldn’t have done so at my old high school. My grades started dropping and my family and I decided that it was best if I try this out!”

Upon graduating from MNPS Virtual School, William says, “I plan to continue my education at The University of Tennessee Knoxville because it is close to home and it also provides a high-quality education. UTK also has one of the best Biology (my major) programs in the state!” William plans to become a medical doctor once he has completed all academic requirements.

When asked, what advice would you provide to other MNPS Virtual School students, William answered, “The advice I have is to be 100% yourself and don't worry about what anyone else is doing because in the end you alone are the one that is in control of your life. Don't take for granted opportunities that may come your way because you may find your passion within that opportunity.”

William is grateful for the support he received over the years to reach this point in life. He shares, I would certainly like to thank both of my moms, Kimberly and Melody, for being an amazing support system as well as keeping me on my toes and instilling me with the character I have today.

MNPS Virtual School's 10th Annual Graduation Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM in the Sadler Auditorium at The Cohn School to celebrate the accomplishment of William and all our MNPS Virtual School graduates.
