I am elated to have the awesome opportunity to serve as the Executive Principal of such an innovative and amazing school community. As the first public virtual school in Tennessee, MNPS Virtual School continues to be a beacon of innovation because of the extraordinary achievement our students and team have accomplished.

This year we will continue to set high expectations for our students. We have an extraordinary legacy of academic excellence that has led to increased academic gains on our TN EOC assessments and ACT exams.

Our vision is to “empower the next generation of resilient, well-rounded online learners to thrive and succeed in any environment.”

I believe that we will accomplish our goals by focusing even more on creating community, building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging at a distance. In other words, we will commit wholeheartedly to virtually ensure every student is known.

In closing, I invite each of you to partner with me as we embark on this exciting journey. I remain hopeful that our students can accomplish any dream they have with the support of caring adults. I pledge to unapologetically love each student for their uniqueness and provide each student an equitable, inclusive, and high-quality education designed to prepare independent thinkers and life-long learners for college, career, community and beyond.
