Academic Resources
Middle School Academics
MNPS Virtual School offers a middle school program for grades 6 through 8. Students in grades 6 through 8 receive instruction primarily in an asynchronous format, although synchronous connections with teachers are limited.
A typical schedule for a middle school student includes Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and a Related Arts course in addition to tier intervention during PLT. Middle students meeting academic qualifications may also enroll in high school-level courses. Middle School course offerings are listed in the Course Catalog.
Extracurriculars
MNPS Virtual School offers several educational and social opportunities for middle school students to participate in athletics and other extracurricular activities at their zoned school. Contact the listed team member for more information. Middle School students may contact Mrs. Bauman or the sponsor for specific clubs, listed below, to express interest and receive more information.
